After another successful year, the development team at Wolf Group continues to grow. This month we welcomed seasoned developer Mark Iceton who has an extensive development background which will be invaluable to the growing team here at Wolf Group.
After graduating from Northumbria University, Mark spent 8 years working for Accenture, working on the National Insurance and PAYE Tax System. During his time there, he was involved with Functional Design, Technical Design, Development, Technical Testing and also assisting other testing teams with defects, so was involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Mark also spent around 4 years of this time as a Senior Analyst Programmer, leading his own team to design and develop many different functional changes to the system.
Upon leaving Accenture in 2011, Mark joined Ikon Science, a company involved in the oil and gas industry. This involved working on the company’s flagship software product ‘RokDoc’, a desktop application that allows oil and gas companies to model various data logs and information. He worked in a development team looking after the 1D and 2D modelling functionality of the application.
After almost 5 years at Ikon Science, Mark has now joined Wolf Group and is currently working on an internal project. He said, “I’ve joined Wolf Group at a great time as the company continues to grow, I’m looking forward to having the chance to work on many different projects using various technologies”.
The addition of another high-level developer adds to Wolf Groups reputation of high quality services, something which the business takes pride in and will continue to ensure.
Mark is one of two new members of the Wolf Group team this month as the Academy also continues to expand with the addition of 18 year old Harry Worton who last week begun his Software Development apprenticeship.
